Tidal Wave Wind Observing Hydrogen Shipping

Tidal Turbine

This sketch shows how we envisage the turbine being used for tidal power. The turbine body shall have a great buoyancy and is kept tightly down by the anchors.

The two vertical anchor-lines are attached to rods (black) fixed to the turbine shaft. This will prevent the turbine body from rotating due to different torques on the two counterrotating rotors.

The system allows the turbine to be placed freely in the middle of the water column without being in the way of ship traffic, nor near the bottom where the speed of the tidal current is lower, and the turbine more prone to harm marine life.
